We come to a very important section of Ecclesiastes where the Holy Spirit leads Solomon to write about the danger of loving money, the vanity of gain through bad business, the importance of maintaining a good name, and the value of exercising practical wisdom in our lives. Do we look to money as a source for good and a resource to glorify God, or do we love money to the point of it ruling over our lives and breeding corruption in our lives? We are called to love our Lord with all of our hearts, feed on His faithfulness, and seek the contentment that only He can give.
