Happy Resurrection Sunday!! On this special Easter Sunday, we focus on the true, incredible, and supernatural event of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We not only serve a crucified Savior, but also a Risen Savior. When Joseph of Arimathea donated his burial tomb for the body of Jesus, he did not realize that this was to be only a borrowed tomb. Jesus only needed it for 3 days. This supernatural event was not only recorded in the Gospels, but was also prophesied in the Old Testament and fulfilled in the person of Christ. Our faith is very much different than all other worldly religions because it was Christ that paid for all our sin debt. All other religions say Do, Do, Do, and the Gospel says Done. This does not mean that as Christians, God is done with us. We are filled with the Holy Spirit and we are called to honor Christ with every part of our lives.
