Followers of Jesus have been called with a very special type of calling. We are called and guided by the power of the Spirit of God and the Gospel to salvation and union in the One body of Christ. Many theologians call this special type of calling the Effectual Calling. In this message, we will see how the apostle Paul called us to walk worthy of the calling by which we were called. We will also see the call to unity in the body of Christ as we are many members who seek to glorify God and serve faithfully in His church. We serve One Lord and exercise one faith while also given a variety of gifts and different roles which are all given by God’s Grace.
